Record Plant recording studio of Hollywood, CA, opened its new SSL 1 room in January 2007. Designed by Vincent Van Haaff of Waterland Designs and Jason Carson, Record Plant's chief technical engineer, the room features an SSL 9000J with 959 Surround Monitors, Core 2 Duo iMac, vibrant plasma video
wall, and lush production space. The studio offers a wide variety of vintage and modern outboard gear and microphones, along with personal comforts including a kitchenette and private lounge.
