Munro Acoustics installed and aligned a pair of customized Dynaudio Acoustics M4+ monitors. The refurbishment of the control room involved re-building the front wall to accommodate the new M4s and to ensure optimum performance between the monitors and the room acoustics. The control room acoustics was measured with MLSSA equipment and from that measurement a computer model was created to reproduce the monitoring environment, with or without modification. The model showed that more diffusion and a tighter bass would make the room work perfectly with the proposed M4 monitors, which have a much wider coverage angle than typical horn systems.
